Antique Halmarked Sterling Silver Mounted Sherlock Holmes Pipe 1909 H&F For restoration or parts, antique hallmarked sterling silver mounted pipe measures approximately 15.2 cm (6 inches) long from edge of bowl rim to end of black stem mouth piece. The bowl rim is covered with a thin mount of sterling silver hallmarked: "H&F" in a rectangular shape, Birmingham anchor, lion, and date letter "k" (1909). The pipe end joint is also covered with a hall marked sterling silver mount marked the same: "H&F" in a rectangular shape, Birmingham anchor, lion, and date letter "k" (1909). The maker's mark is for William Sydney Hall and Edward Thurston Fitzgerald trading as Hall & Fitzgerald "Merchants of tobacconists' fancy goods" Bristol. Genuine antique, old, used, and worn, the pipe without the mouth piece is in good sound condition with no cracks or chips; in need of proper cleaning, and attention. The bowl cover silver mount is dented and the mouth piece is repaired (see last two photos). Shipping quoted above is for residents of the United Kingdom only.
