RARE Hammond Multiplex Wooden cased typewriter. Typewriter seems to be complete wth ribbon covers and even has old ribbon. Rollers work well and paper was easy to load. All of the keys which appear to be glass seem to function that is they are not stuck but the typewriter will neeed to be serviced as it hasn't been used for at least 50 years. . Comes with the original instruction book and wooden case which has a very nice original finish however there is a crack in the front, see pics. Serial number is 192016. Overall appearances indicate that typewriter has been well cared for finish is still very shiny with no rust or pitting. Sold as found and As IS. Will be caefully packed and shipped via UPS , weighs approx 14 lbs. Please check my other auctions for items that I have collected over the years.
