Gorgeous silver on bronze vase from the Heintz Art Metal Shop of Buffalo NY. The delicate silver design (in this case the iris flower) was cut out and then perfectly bonded to the bronze items through a patented process known as sintering. I love the way one of the leaves has been carefully draped over the mouth of the vase Â- fabulous! This vase has an all over silver plate finish over the bronze. The silver plate is quite thin in places but still is beautiful and striking. Wonderful addition to a top quality art nouveau or arts and crafts collection. Please see my other current auctions for more vintage silver, I'm always happy to combine wins! SIZE: 6.6Â" (17cm) tall x 3.5Â" (9cm) wide approx.CONDITION: Very Good! A few very tiny nicks, extremely minor and not distracting. The silver plate is thin in places with the brownish bronze showing through. T are two brownish colored lines which run horizontally near the base. I assume these are an original design element. SEE PHOTOS.MARKS; Marked with the HAMS diamond mark and STERLING ON BRONZE Pat.
