This is an antique hand carved classic pond sail boat from an estate in Annapolis, Maryland. The classic antique pond sail boat is made from a single piece of hand carved wood. On top of the deck is a small square wood cabin and two masts. The keel is made of tin metal and bottom of the boat retains its original apple red color. The keel is weighted. The decking and the rigging are missing on this beautiful pond boat and at one time it would have been sea worthy. The antique hand carved classic pond sail boat sits upon a stand that is not original to the boat. The sail boat measures 20 inches from stem to stern, 4 1/2 inches from port to aft, and 7 1/2 inches from the bottom of the keel to the deck. The antique boat is in excellent condition and still has the original paint. The keel is in good condition without rust. This is a beautiful rendition of a classic Americana Sail Boat and would grace any home.
