YOU ARE BIDDING ON THIS STUNNINGLY BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE HAND CARVED SOLID OAK PEDESTAL OCCASIONAL TABLE. IT IS A VERY HIGH QUALITY PIECE. THIS IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION { with one seam which has opened up slightly, but it is still a very very tight nice piece }. THE CARVING DEPICTS A FERN FROND OR OAK LEAF WHICH FLOWS BEAUTIFULLY TOWARD THE CARVED SCROLL WORK BASE AND FEET. THE CULTURED/ IMITATION MARBLE TOP WAS CUSTOM MADE FOR TO PROTECT IT. THIS TABLE MEASURES 30" T X 28" ACROSS . THE TABLE WEIGHS APPROX. 60lbs. BEFORE ANY PACKING HAS BEEN ADDED. THE TOP SHOWS SOME MINOR WEAR WHICH IS THE REASON THE MARBLE TOP WAS MADE FOR IT. A FINE QUALITY PIECE. THE NICEST I HAVE EVER RAN ACROSS IN MANY YEARS OF ANTIQUING . We are offering this item on a 5 day auction with no Reserve for a friend of ours. This came from the estate of his father and mother who recently passed away. Please feel free to ask any questions.
