is a very old, estimated 1850s , unmarked, Spanish Colonial sword . Typical of the type used up to the Mexican Revolution. Shows a lot of use. The guard has slight play in it. 32” blade and about 36 1/4” overall. Great iron detail work in the guard. No damage or repairs other then normal wear. The tacks were added at a later date. a typical; Indian touch. The sword may have been in Indian hands at some point. From an old Santa Fe arms collection.
