We are selling a large group of our earlier period estate sale items from the Washington, DC area. We do not specialize in any one area, so you will always find a wide variety of items for sale. We have been stocking our inventory but haven't posted any auctions for quite a while, so the selection is good! Please be sure to check our "other items" category, and check back often as we will be listing new items periodically. Thanks to all the "fanatics" from the AFCA forum for your help and advice. We have come to the conclusion that this very well may be the first attempt to electrify a fan that was once more typically a mechanical fan. It seemed to create a bit of buzz a couple months back, and I just wanted to put the word out that its going to the block. Special thanks to Paul Pierson for his help and his awesome American Fan Patents books I purchased. I'll be including a set of his patent books in the auction (2 volumes comprised of almost 500 pages total), which has what we believe is the original patent drawing application in it (shown in pics). Of course, I kept a set for myself. Thanks again guys, and may the best bid win! As for condition, I feel the pictures speak for themselves. T are 2 brass machine screws missing (as seen in pics) -- a very minor flaw. It obviously needs to be re-wired. The handle has no crazing or chips to the paint. The brass has not been cleaned. This fan is in remarkable condition for its age. We found it wrapped in a plastic bag at an estate sale in a basement full of goodies. We charge a $2.00 handling fee on each transaction. We will combine auctions that end within a few days of each other to save you on shipping and handling. We accept money order, personal check, and Paypal. In the case of money order or check we will wait until the funds have cleared our account to ship the item.
