You are bidding on a very early hand hewn wooden dough tray. This is a one of a kind item as you can duplicate the hand hewn one piece of wood and the worn red ox blood paint. Please check the pictures for the make do repairs when this HARED WOOD cracked at some point. This is appears to a 1700s DOUGH TRAY but it may have had other uses as well. This is carve from one piece of Maple or some other hard wood. This is a great size measuring only 23" long, 14 1/8" wide, and about 4 1/2" high. This Tray came from the same estate sale as the dough trencher in southern Lancaster County, Pa. Please check the pictures it does show some ware and cracks but I doubt you will see another one like this. This is a spectacular early primitive. The pictures do not do this justice. Good Luck! I do not try to make $ on shipping! Most of the time I tend to loose on shipping but if you feel you were over charged, please let me know so I can give you a refund through paypal.
