DESCRIPTION This antique quilt will really catch your attention with simple yet eye popping color. The colors are creamy white and the almost the exact color of this writing. I did that on purpose so in case your monitor shows it looking more blue. It isn't turqouise, it is definitely that 1930's or 40's type aqua. I am not sure when it was made, but I would guess in the 1930's or 40's. All hand quilted with 12 tiny consistent stitches throughout. The only thing that I can see that was machine stitched was the binding. This is a Double Irish Chain. It would be perfect for the upcoming holidays to add some punch to your holiday decorating. It is made of all cotton fabrics and has a thin cotton batting. Batting is intact and perfectly even. Quilt is super soft and fluid. Doesn't feel stiff. Exquistely quilted in a varied diamond criss cross pattern over the entire quilt. The last photo shows the back of the quilt. The only condition issue that I can see is that there is a tiny yellowish stain in one of the corners about the size of a penny. It may come out, I haven't tried to launder it and will leave that to the buyer. Beautifully quilted, perfectly matched pieced patchwork and skillfully executed. Size: 61 1/2" x 75" Please e-mail with any questions. I normally do not accept returns on vintage items, but if you feel that I messed read more
