Thanks for looking! Up for bids is an awesome antique quilt handstitched in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania c. 1750. Commonly called a "Christmas Quilt" because of the green and red color scheme. Handed down through the family for 250 years! Comes with handwritten note from 1900 and another one from 2000 tracing the lineage of the quilt. I prefer not to reveal the names of the family members but I will include it with the quilt. Measures 80" L x 76" W. Has some wear on the edges, not bad though. Does need a washing, has some light staining. I think it will come out with Oxi-Clean or Tide but I don't know much about quilts so I don't want to wash it. I took close-up pictures of the stitching. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to own a quilt of this age. It still amazes me that this was made back before the USA was a country! I will do my best to answer any questions you may have. If I don't know-I will find out! NO RESERVE AND LOW OPENING BID! Bidwith confidence (I am a former consignment shop owner with a past ebay account(2001-2005) with 100% positive feedback).
