Antique Hand Woven Homespun Cotton Black & White Grid Fabric 4.3 Yards From Chongming island, a small island near Shanghai, China. People found lots of handwoven homespun, over 200 patterns, in Chongming late 80th to 90th, last century. It was local tradition that handwoven textiles were wedding gifts for new couple from the late 19th to the early 20th century. Many of them were stored and unused. This one is 60 years old at least. Densely woven. Black & White Grid. Washable. Perfect for home decoration. Good condition. Most fabric I put on auction hasbeen stored for decades, some does have smell of musty, can be easily removed by washing.
