Description: These are a unique set of six hand blown fotted tumbers and were made at the Clevenger Brothers Glass Company of Clayton NJ Circa 1935-1945. The base of the tumblers is called crimped foot. They were purchased by my grandmother back in the early 1950's and have been in my family since then. They were purchased from Haddie Brunner from her antique shop. She was a well known antique dealer and artist in Pennsylvania. She stated then that they were very old. The pictures do not do them justice by far. They are gorgeous with absolutely no chips or cracks and they are not broken in any way. T is a set and each goblet ranges from 5 x 3 5/8 (being the largest goblet) to 4 1/2 x 2 7/8 (being the smallest goblet). They are uniquely all shaped differently from the glass blowing technique. The color almost looks black until under the light w it looks to be a very dark purple. The bottoms of each glass has a slight decorative bottom and the bottoms of each goblet has the obvious hand blown mark w the glass was broken off from the tool used to blow the glass.
