Antique handcrafted fine wicker on metal frame baby doll buggy carriage stroller. Has 4 x 9" diameter metal wheels with wire spokes and solid rubber tires..This was picked up from an Ohio estate liquidation sale whose elderly owner claims this belonged to her late doll collector grandmother and is an antique item from the late 1800s early 1900s. Very well built with decorative wicker patterns on one end (picture 5) and at side corners (pictures 8 & 9). Measures 27" tall x 36" long x 14" at widest and in good condition with no loose ends or unraveling of wicker. Bottom of buggy has a padded liner for a cherished doll (picture 10). And under the buggy is a hand operated braking system (picture 11). Bottom part is wood showing some age stains and shadow of likely maker's or distributor's name (picture 12).A great antique handcrafted fine wicker doll buggy that will make a treasured addition to a collection.
