VIEW OUR FEEDBACK AND Antique Handmade Tin Sugar Shaker / Muffineer 1800'sFrom Lancaster County Pennsylvania Offered is an Antique Handmade Tin Sugar Shaker or Muffineer from Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, circa 1800's. These were used daily for sprinkling sugar, cinnamon, etc.. This one has a long handle unusual for muffineers and gives this fantastic piece a great look. While upper class households might have Sheffield or silver versions, those of humbler means relied on these homemade tin shakers which today have become very collectible and sought after. Measures a large 8 inches long from end of handle to the edge of the shaker. The shaker it self measures 4 inches tall and 3 1/2 inches wide. Has a ring at the end of the handle for hanging. Well used but in excellent condition for its age with a nice patina. This great early piece deserves a prominent place in your estate. Further description and condition as shown in the many photo's provided.
