This Hannah Davis band box is 12 inches across, 8 inches high and 8 ¾ inches deep. It is made of bentwood and covered with hand painted wall paper. The inside of the box and the bottom is lined with newspaper. The newspaper on the bottom dates to 1852 and we believe that is the date of the box. The bottom of the cover has a yellow Hannah Davis tag. This was made in East Jaffrey, NH. There is a leather or cardboard tag on the top that looks to be original that has writing on it but we can not make out what it says. There are some splits to the wallpaper along the corners especially. There is a little bit of wood damage and paper loss on one side. We have provided plenty of pictures so please review closely to determine condition.
