We are downsizing, and I am selling many of the pieces of my personal Limoges China collection of 25 years. All items will be described as accurately as I can, and I will show and describe condition as well. All dates and marks are resourced from The Encyclopedia of Limoges, Third Edition. Please email with any questions before bidding. Shipping is to the Continental US only. I am offering 4 unique and rare very old Charles Field Haviland hand painted 7" square dishes. THIS AUCTION IS FOR ONE DISH ONLY. As mentioned, they are 7" in diameter, and are EACH decorated with an attractive nature scene in the center, a wide light blue rim, and gold trim. They were manufactured by the Charles Field Haviland/GDM Company, one of the oldest and best known manufacturers of French porcelain. The dishes have their green underglaze backstamp mark #1, used only from 1882-1890. They also each have a hand painted date, "1888", on the back, as pictured. This dish is in excellent condition, with no chips, no cracks, no repairs, and no paint loss. Very low starting price for items this old, and no reserve. I will be happy to combine shipping if you win more than one of these. $7.00 for the first one, and $2.00 each for the others if you win more than one.
