This porcelain chocolate pot was produced in France by Haviland Limoges around 1900. It is 9 1/4 inches high, including the lid. The blank has a fancy molded handle, the foot is scalloped and there are molded details to the body of the pot. The decoration is a factory transfer design of pastel colored roses and flowers gently trailing down the sides of the pot. The gilding is hand painted in uneven fashion.CONDITION: There is a chip on the inside rim of the pot and a tiny chip on the under side of the lid. Neither of these flaws affects its use or display quality.
