Antique Henry Troemner Metal Scale with 5 Brass WeightsItem DescriptionNote: All items in our store include NO sales tax to our US customers! Here is a nice looking wood, brass and metal Henry Troemner Scale for your buying consideration. Recently acquired it at an estate sale. Would make a great gift or keep it for yourself!Beautiful smaller Troemner scale here. Would have sat in a store or pharmacy on a counter for measuring various products. The scale was made by Henry Troemner of Philadelphia, PA and made in the early 1900s.What makes this scale unique and uncommon is the smaller size and the built in place to set the weights on the front of the scale base. The scale has a metal base with a black and gold enamel paint finish. Certainly some finish loss. The metal base is in very nice condition. No cracks, hairlines, or missing pieces. The name of the maker and location is on a metal label on the base and also pressed into a piece at the top of the scale . Some minor surface rusting to the metal base. The nickel plated scale pans on this piece are very nice, show some minor tarnishing. The pans are 3.4 to 4" in diameter (not by handle). The 5 brass weights range in size from 1/2 troy ounce to 2 ounces. Slide weight is in place as well with brass slider bar.The Troemner Scale is 7.75" tall, by 10" across, by 4" wide. Let us know if
