This is a 5 Day Auction - NO RESERVE! This is an antique J.A. Henshall split Bamboo Fly Rod. It has 4 pieces, 2 of them are interchangeable tips. Comes with the original bag and aluminum tube. On the rod is a gold sticker as seen which say’s “J.A. Henshall The Weber Life Like Fly Co. Stevens Point Wis.” T is a slight scratch that goes between the J and the A but the letters are still recognizeable. I believe his name was James A. Henshall? The cork grip shows some spots w the fisherman hooked flies, really though it‘s much better than my description. The cork has a nice patina and rich smooth feeling. T are two extra tips one is just slightly shorter than the other as seen. The length with the longer tip is 9’ feet long and with the shorter tip it’s 8’ 8” inches long. The silver end cap reads “WEBER LIFELIKE FLY CO. STEVENS POINT. WIS.” Each of the four pieces exhibit some use however the second piece is lighter in color than the rest. One guide needs to be wrapped slight tear and one guide is missing. Winning bidder pays shipping & insurance.I am not an expert with respect to antique fishing memorabilia however I will do my best to answer questions.
