Antique High Glazed Porcelain Pewter Lidded Steins ~NR~ Please do not bid with out first getting a shipping quote: see details below. Click Images to Enlarge DESCRIPTION ~SUNDAY NIGHT SPECIAL ~ THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION ~ You are bidding on an two Antique lidded beer steins. These are a RARE FIND due to its size, age and beauty and hard to find on the secondary market and dates back in time. These steins were beautifully made. The smaller stein is cream colored with the German saying "Grub aus Nurnberg" in english that translates to "Dug out of Nurnberg". It has a two tier dome pewter lid with a small ribbed border. The thumb piece is pewter. It is marked LC. The larger stein is cream colored. The German saying is "Grub aus Gechingen" the english translation is "Dug out of Gechingen". Bordering the saying is a raised sand colored design. The lid and thumb piece are pewter. This stein is marked GD. Both pieces are made of porcelain and are finished in high glaze. We are not experts in this types of collectable pieces and Please keep in mind this came from a private estate and may have minor wear and imperfections consistant with its age that can be shown in the photos for your review so please make your own determination. These are beautiful pieces that can no longer be found today and make a great addition that can be accented anyw throughout your home. They are VERY WELL made with quality that surpasses anything made today but please keep in mind this is an antique and has minor imperfections consistant with its age and stated and shown in the photos and overall is in excellent shape.
