Howdy!! We buy from local NY & PA & Canadian estates ,we are not in love with the stuff ,so we're to move it and we sell it all with no reserve. Today we are listing a very cool old brass presentation lantern. This one is a fixed globe lantern made & marked by D.D. Miller Manufacturer 190 Water Street New York.It has "Highland Three" engraved on the glass globe. It is in excellent condition, uncleaned and as found. It is nearly complete, but is missing the screw in wick holder and adjuster (the burner is missing, not the tank) as it was electrified and t was a small hole drilled for the wire.I thought this lamp was a railroad conductor or engineer's lantern, but i was told it was from the Highland Ave. fire station ( #3) ,an old brick firehouse, empty ,but still standing at the corner of Highland Ave and College Ave. in Niagara Falls NY.A very nice and early lantern to add to your firefighting or railroad ( RR ) collection.Shipping will be $12.50.Payment to be made within 7 days or negative feedback will be left and item relisted. We are to sell this stuff,we don't want to keep it,so bid if you want it and if you will follow thru and pay for it. We will pack it proper and get it to you at the stated shipping cost and in the condition pictured. Payment within 7 days and Money Order as payment make things even easier and gets things shipped ASAP. We will leave positive feedback for a completed sale and Negative feedback for non-payment. Email us if you have any questions. We don't do the "Buy it now" and DO NOT take PAYPAL! Insurance is optional for items under $100, but items shipped without insurance are at buyer's risk. We require insurance on items over $100.Lost or damaged insured items, require paperwork ect. and refunds can't be returned until paperwork is submitted and approved. Shipping is non-refundable on returns. NY residents must add an additional 8.25% tax or send a signed copy of your VALID tax exempt certificate. Easy enough don't ya think? (Please Note:We are just buyers of what we think someone might have an interest in and not experts (nor do we even have a clue on some items!) and have tried to accurately represent this item in the photos and the description, as best we can.So please note: My items are all fresh finds from Estate Sales, Yard Sales.
