ANTIQUE SILVER TOP AND CUT GLASS WHISKY TOTJUG NOGGIN HALLMARKED BIRMINGHAM 1925 A hallmarked solid silver top andcut glass Whisky Tot Noggin Jug. It would have been crafted by hand and is in brilliant condition for its age of almost 100 years old - hallmarked for Birmingham 1925. It has a hinged silver lid on a glass jug, the base of which is cut into a star pattern. HALLMARKS: The silver collar carries the hallmarks of solid silver for Birmingham 1925. These are: S.B & S.Ld into an oblong chamfered rectangle for S Blanckensee & Sons Ltd of Birmingham; the Anchor for the Birmingham Assay Office; the lion passant for English silver; the letter “A” in a shield for the year 1925. The lid is matching and also has the lion passant and the letter “A” in a shield . APPROXIMATE MEASUREMENTS AND WEIGHT: Height (excluding finial on top) is 11cm and it weighs 150g in total. CONDITION: It is in excellent condition for its age. There are no chips to the glass and the silver is in great condition. It has a few small spots of wear on the outer rim of the inside of the lid where it meets the collar, as is normal. IN THIS NO RESERVE AUCTION!
