Description: I Item up for Auction is an Antique Button Box Accordion Made of wood and Bakelite. T are 25 buttons on the right side and 8 buttons on the left. The name ' Horne r' is in gold on the front and on the top with the same gold are the letters, 'D R P'. T is a small metal plaque attached to the bottom stating the dealer's name, ' MUSIK-JACOB, STUTTGART ...and a street address'. The straps are a blue-grey dyed leather and the left hand strap is identified by two stamped marks on either end: '5682 and B/Es'. . The bellows move in and out very well and t seems to be no cracks, cuts, or perforations. All buttons emit sound in both pressed und released position; the very last and top/high button is sticky. The Tiger Bakelite is in excellent condition. The wood has wear from usage with some paint missing and one corner has small chip. The chrome grating has a slight bend and some minor rust spotting. The straps have scuffing from wear but leather is not overly cracked. But T are No Major Brakes or Cracks and Overall Condition is Very Good. Also comes with the original brown carrying case with no key and whose full back hinge is torn through but this is repairable.
