Antique metal holder for the
RED COMET AUTOMATIC
FIRE EXTINQUISHER.
I believe this holder was installed on the
wall with it's Red Comet glass fire extinguisher
inside of it. When the heat got hot enough,
the spring loaded mechanism would break
the glass spraying the liquid onto the fire.
Don't have the glass, but this is a GREAT holder.
