Found tucked away in the back of a glass case in a thrift shop run by Nuns in Pittsburgh, Pa. is this large set of BELT ROSARIES. These are old -real deal and have wear-a hairline (about 1" long)on top of each side of the CROSS-Cross is hand carved and has an inlay of a lighter wood within and measures 5 inches long. The beads are carved wood and painted black-each measures 1/2" and are held together with solid silver links that look like sterling but are not marked.Has clasp-see 3rd picture so it can open and close easily.Set is approx. 70" long.
