This beautiful golden oak Hoosier- style cabinet has beenrestored, but still has some of its original features.
Original âe" Built in flour bin sifter (repainted) Glass Sugar bin Slide out porcelain top (shows a little wear) Roll top door Bread board Wood pot and pan shelf (pull out shelves on bottom) Cookbook holder and bill hooks Meat grinder bracket Door mounted wood lid rack Reproductions âe" 5 mission style spice jars on a metal rack Bread box Cabinet door cards (Household Hints, Measures and Weights, & Things Worth Knowing) Some of the hardware is original, others parts are reproductions. The cabinet is on casters. The porcelain top pulls out slightly. The top is in good condition. The man I bought it from who restored it thought it was Napanee cabinet, but Iâe(tm)m not so sure. Nonetheless, t is a Napanee Tag (reproduction) on the cabinet that the restorer added to the piece. Iâe(tm)m thinking it may be a Sellers cabinet. The two upper center doors are a little uneven, but can be easily fixed. The bottom cabinet latch was replaced by a somewhat smaller latch. The bread box sticks a little bit.Dimensions (total): 40âe x 29âe x 71.5âe This cabinet was probably made sometime during the 1920âe(tm)s. It is in 2 pieces and attached by brackets (original). Also included is a book on Hoosier Cabinets I was given when I bought the piece. Makes an excellent display in the kitchen or is very functional as kitchen storage (I have my bake ware in it).
