Up for auction is a rare antique Hopi Kachina Doll depicting "Hotsani" a seldom-carved kachina-being who was more popular in the early 20th century. This carving dates back to the 1930s -40s and is painted with tempera paints which were commonly used at that time. He also has his original Fred Harvey Company sticker that reads "From the Hopi Villages" on his back. He stands 7 inches tall. Part of one foot has snapped off - please see the pics. - and is in otherwise great shape. I am starting the bidding low for this no reserve auction. The high-bidder pays $6.50 for S&H, int'l-bidders pay the actual shipping. I accept payment by check, m.o. and paypal. To see other interesting Hopi items, please check out my other auctions. Thanks for looking!
