Payment 6 Antique HP Crown Staffordshire Tea Cups & Saucers Exotic BIRDS Flowers R Hague Album Album Album Album Album Album Album Album Album Album Album Album Album Album AlbumSet of (6) antique (early 20th century) English bone china tea cups (no handles) and saucers, Crown Staffordshire .. in the style of early Worcester. Decorated with hand painted exotic birds alternating with floral panels, on a mottled blue ground; Embellished with ornate gilt foliate accents ~ scrolls, lattice, and flowers; and d elicate scalloped gilt trim all around the back of the rims, and inside the cups. Marked in gold (one green mark, very interestingly over-painted, hand painted, in gold); each piece is also hand-signed in gold: "Painter R Hague" . The cups are apx 3 1/2" diameter (at the top); the saucers are apx 5 5/8" diameter; the saucers have gilt-trimmed bases. All pieces are in very good condition ~ no chips, cracks, or damage.
