this is a rare antique brass, glass, and crystal hanging oil lamp chandelier. it has exquisite very ornate tri- arm with cut out detailing of beautiful floral designs. the base where the oil container sits is also very ornate with floral design and has a great acorn shaped finial. the oil lamp bulb is made of brass and the knob controls the wick which controls the size of the flame. the arms connect to a large detailed cut out ring which is highly embossed with floral foliage pattern, and holds many stunning cut crystals which have a nice shine to them. the large milk glass shade is hand painted with a beautiful floral scene on all sides and in good shape. inside the large shade a white to clear glass flute shade sits inside the oil lamp. the chandelier hangs by 3 brass arms with roping detail and in the middle of each has great ball shape pieces.....great design. , and the arms are held by a nice ceiling canopy which also has ornate detail and a downward facing solid brass tassel finial. the piece is in great shape and has a wonderful patina from age. it measures 36 inches up and down from ceiling to the bottom of the fixture, by 18 inches wide. very rare oil lamp.
