This piece was marked by Hummel who has made some of the finest Porcelain figurines during the time period. This adorable figurine of a boy and girl are "Off to the Market" as we believe it is called. They both are beautifully hand painted. She's wearing a doll dress and holding a basket in one hand and flowers in the other. He has his hands in his pockets. Both have beautiful expressions of innocence. This piece is matte finished which gives great depth and dimension to the detail. This figurine is marked 49 3/0 W. Germany on the underside and impressed with the signature on the base.
