Antique Hurricane Parlor Lamp This antique hand painted parlor lamp from the turn of the century was originally an oil lamp but has since been electrified. It is hand painted with a beautiful floral design, and is a great addition to any antique lover's collection. It has been with the same family since it was new, and it is in full working order making it a wonderful conversation piece for any room in the house. You can purchase this and have it just in time to give to your sweetheart just in time for Valentine's Day but you have to be the high bidder to get it!!!!! As you can see the hand painted floral design is painted on all sides of the globes. The design on one side is slightly smaller than the other, and this can make it even easier to match it with other pieces in the room. Also the intricate footed base has a design similar to a fleur de lis and is a gold color as are all the other metal parts. The lamp stands 25 inches high. The base is 6 inches across. The top globe has a width of 9 inches, while the bottom globe is 7 inches across.
