This is a partial set of beautiful china from Germany, made by Hutschenruether. The set consists of 1 platter, 12 dinner plates, 1 bread plate, 5 dessert plates, 3 saucers, 6 berry bowls, 1 gravy boat with attached underplate, 1 gravy ladle, 1 sugar bowl with lid and 1 creamer. This pattern is a simple white design with platinum trim and a lightly scalloped edge. the platter measures 14.25" x 10.25" and is in very good condition. It is a nice heavy piece that would display beautifully, with only a few small spots of platinum loss/fading and no chips or cracks. The gravy boat/underplate/ladle are also in very good condition with no chips or cracks and very minimal fading. The ladle shows the most fading right on the handle. The sugar bowl and creamer are very shapely and would also display beautifully The sugar bowl has no cracks or chips and the platinum is in great shape. The creamer has a 3/8" flattish chip on the bottom edge just left of the pour spout, but otherwise good condition. The dinner plates are 10.25" wide and do not have any chips or cracks, though they do show utensil wear (light surface scratching). 5 of the dinner plates have platinum loss--the thick outside edge of the platinum is generally good, but the thin line on the plate surface is about 35-50% gone on these.
