Antique 19th century bullnose butcher knife marked I Wilson Sycamore St Sheffield England. This company also made knives that were used as trade items in the North American fur trade industry. This knife has a forged carbon steel blade that is just under7 3/4 inches and the overall length is 12 1/2 inches. Handle has a 1/2 tang construction with 4 of the 6 iron or steel pins holding the blade and the last 2 holding the handle together. The blade is tight and firm in the handle but has been sharpened plenty in it's long career but otherwise t is no signs of abuse on this great old historic knife. See photos for additional details and feel free to ask any questions. As always I offer very fair even generous combined shipping rates. No sales to minors. International buyers PayPal only please.
