Antique Imperial Glass AmethystPurple Iridescent Carnival Glass Small Bowl w Ruffled Edge - Rare Design Up for auction is an absolutely breathtaking amethyst or purple iridescent carnival glass round bowl. This bowl features a scroll embossed pattern on the inside diamond & file pattern on the outside. It has an exquisite ruffled and scalloped rim and wonderful iridescence on both the inside and out. This pattern type looks like it is by the Imperial Glass Company, c. 1910-30. [There is no manufacturer's mark.] The bowl measures approximately 2 1/8" high x 5 1/2" wide across the top x 2 1/2" diameter base. It is in Excellent Estate Condition - no chips, cracks, flea bites or repairs. There are a few manufacturing flaws (air bubbles and rough areas) in the glass. ( See PHOTOS ) Very Difficult to Find such a Stunning Piece! { Please Note : I am not an antique dealer but I do try my best to research and describe the item as accurately as possible.
