Most members on ebay do not understand what I do with my raw antique frames once received.Before you get a frame from us,It goes through a protocal.Very much like your physician checking your fitness level.The antique frame is first disinfected and then checked for stuctural integrety and handling safety.I get the slivers on edges and remove them so you don't.Structural integrety is tightness of frame at all levels.Not one of my frames will rattlle with loose liners.The frame must remain tight and sturdy at all 4 corners without any supports like glass.I do not touch the frames patina but clean and enhance it and seal it with fine neutral non-yellowing balm,and waxes.All these extra checks and repairing cost dearly in special materials used and time,so you get a frame that you will inbrace.I may charge a bit more than others,but you get what you pay for!Most if not all frames shipped from us will outlive buyer,unless it it abused or dropped.What stands out in this frame is its smaller cute display of Eastlake multi-colors and lovely flower cuts on the faux walnut.The condition of frame is very good for being used 105 years or so. You are bidding/buying on a cute antique,Eastlake style,incised faux walnut,frame with a gorgeous light gold duel liners.The gold liners are in great shape .The liners have some wear and displays some age specks,and stains verifying its age.The faux walnut face has little ware.The incised cuts have little soilng and show off the white cuts.The inside varied/marblized colors on cream color background is also in great shape.The frame comes with hanging wire,two replacement eye hooks and original wavey glass.My best guess for period of frame is anyw from 1890 to 1905..I will let the photos speak for themselves.See photos,so you can make up your own mind.If you need to see photos blown up just email me with your home email so I may attach.Ebay does not furnish this feature.
The outside size of the frame is approximately 12 1/4 x10 1/4".The matting or glass size is 8 x 6". . The frame is tight and should last many more decades.Please look at our store "House Of Savoie" for other quality old,antique frames and original Audubon 1st edition octavo,Gould bird,Kellogg lithographs and maritime/naval engravings at reasonable prices.I guarentee the authenticity of this frame and all my rare prints and to your satisfaction or money back!!!.GOOD LUCK BIDDING!!!!!!!!!!!!
