ANTIQUE, AUTHENTIC AND USED VERY FINE *** BRONZE TEMPLE OFFERING OIL LAMP *** from Nepal or India. These great ritual lamps have been used by the Village People of India or Nepal during their hinduist puja offering rites and ceremonies inside the temples and shrines. This very fine lamp consists of bronze and shows a great impressive shape with a three segmented base and lotus leaf decoration. Three offering bowls. Allover the item a superb dark smooth ritual patina with traces of sacrificial oil. Condition: excellent condition, no damage, very good smooth glossy ritual patina, fine signs of high age and longtime use. Age: late19th to early 20th century. Size: Height 7.5 cm. Length 10.8 cm.
