WONDERFUL *** BRONZE TEMPLE OFFERING OIL LAMP WITH COBRA SNAKE HEAD***

from Nepal or India.

These great ritual lamps have been used by the Village People of India or Nepal during their hinduist puja offering rites and ceremonies inside the temples and shrines.

This LARGE WONDERFUL TEMPLE LAMP consists of high quality bronze and shows a great impressive shape with round base and five offering bowls. The curved handle shows a fine detailed SNAKE COBRA HEAD . Allover the item a superb dark smooth ritual patina with traces of sacrificial oil and material.

Condition: excellent condition, no damage, very good smooth glossy ritual patina, fine signs of high age and longtime ritual use.

Age: 19th century. ANTIQUE ITEM !!!!
