A wonderful bronze figure of Krishna dancing with the butterball on a lotus plinth. He is wearing necklaces, anklets, pectoral jewels and a pelvic girdle of bells, and has one foot raised resting on a lotus bud.
This is one of the nicest Balakrishna figures that I've come across for a while; great form and posture, excellent details and a good size. It dates around the mid 19th century and probably comes from Karnataka.
Good condition with minimal wear.
