Antique Inlaid Crotch Mahogany China Cabinet Bookcase THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION !!!! You are bidding on an Antique Designer Inlaid Crotch Mahogany China Cabinet Bookcase. I have ALL the matching pieces to this antique dining room set on Ebay and ALL of these auctions start one dollar bids with NO reserve. This piece sits on beautifully curved and fluted legs with an Ancathus carved floral leaf at the top of each leg. It has a single drawer and 2 doors which are all doweled and dovetailed together with brass pull handles that have a floral pattern etched into the brass itself. The top drawer has a nice key design in carved fretwork with a beautiful burl wood inlay. It has a beautifully inlaid floral urn motif in various exotic woods with a Birdseye Maple and Satinwood as well. The doors have a nice oval inset with beautiful crotch mahogany at the center.The top has a nicely parched pediment with decorative scroll work with circular rosettes and a carved finial at the center. The glass doors have shelves on the inside with grooves at the back for plate displaying. It has beautiful lattice work over the glass with nice oval fan shaped floral motifs at the center.
