* Two matching lovely IS CO Sterling 1779 Footed Bowls*
* Pierced* Fruit & Vegetable border design* Thin & Sleek* *Beautiful vintage Find & Excellent for your Antique Tableware collection!* Condition: Very Nice vintage condition, with small signs of wear ( scratches) due to age. Minor scratches mostly on the bowl portion, on the silver, a few spots on the underside but no pitting- Only noting because I am being very thorough in the description. The scratches are either from use or cleaning. One or two longer ones, but these bowls are truly beautiful none-the-less. Bowl is 7" wide x 3 1/3" tall, base is 3 1/3" wide. The border is a very detailed edge of berries and veggies and fruits, you can see peaches, peppers, leaves, berries...all around. The border is 1/2cm wide, the the pierced border is also 1/2cm wide. The bottoms are stamped and inscribed: Stamped in cursive IS CO Sterling and below 1779. One bowl has an inscribed "A5479B". One bowl has a slight ding to the very bottom edge. Unseen when standing on the table. Just a lovely set for your next formal party or your china cabinet display...
