ANTIQUE IRON & BRASS BED CURVED FOOTBOARD GORGEOUS
From a wealthy old home in Boston , the most beautiful antique iron and brass bed with wonderful curved footboard. Beautifully designed with graceful lines and decorative sculptural iron and brass details on headboard and matching footboard .This antique bed was created in the mid 1800's.It is more substantial and weighs more than most antique iron & brass beds.Finely detailed casting,strong and heavy . Brass horizontal rods and large brass ball finials that top the bedposts.The footboard has a very rare form ,in that, it bows out 4" at the center and tapers back to the side columns.This is a full size bed.Beautiful soft pale sage green putty color painted finish.The headboard stands 59 " tall to top of brass finial and it's 54 1/2 " wide.The footboard stands 39 1/2 " tall to top of brass finial, 54 1/2 " wide.The inside rail measurement is 77 " long by 54 " wide.
