This is an old Islamic wooden shelf inlaid with mother of pearl (MOP). Some of the MOP is missing. This is very common in old furniture of this type.� The shelf measure 32" in height, 14" in width and 7 3/4 in depth.� Most likely made in Syria, Egypt or Turkey around late to early 19 century.� A nice addition to Middle Eastern, Turkish, Arabic, Egyptian, Syrian, Moroccan, Oriental, or Persian collection.
