Antique Istanbul Childs Book Dated 1959~No. 2415 Description: Up for bid is a very old Istanbul childrens story/school book. I can only tell you how I aquired this book and hopefully with the pictures, you can gain knowledge as to the book itself. My grandfather worked in Istanbul many years ago and brought home many items from his stay t I have several things that was given to me. The date in the book reads 1959 and it looks to me as a lesson or school book. This book does not have any English in it. Just the dates as to when it was written are understandable to me. I have had this book all my life, in fact have been told that it was a gift to me before I was born. The book measures 9" x 61/2" and has about 59 pages in it. It is a bit worn and the pages are very fragile due to its age. I have been told not to tape antique books as it will cause more damage to them and so I have done nothing to repair it.The front of the book is titled Alfabe, I would love to know more about this book.
