WELCOME TO TREASURED TOMES! I USUALLY ONLY DEAL IN RARE BOOKS, BUT I AM SELLING OFF A FEW ANTIQUES TO CLEAR UP SOME SPACE! YOU WILL WIN: A Beautiful Antique Ivory Elephant Collection, Complete with Two necklaces, a pair of earrings, a ring, Salt and Pepper Shakers, and a set of 7 Toothpicks. This is a Beautiful collection and most of These pieces are very intricately detailed. AS TO DETAILS: The Salt and Pepper Shakers, are Beautiful, Intricately detailed, with Elephant Finials at top ends. They measure approximately 3 3/4" Tall. One Shaker has some age-toning and mild wear, and the other has 2 slight surface cracks that do not run all the way through the piece. An Awesome set in a very nice Presentation box. The Box is very nice, but old, the hinges are a bit rusty, but all is still intact and excellent! The Necklaces are Very Choice , Each Measuring Roughly 19" end to end. T are eight Elephants on each necklace, not counting the large centerpiece on each.The Double-Strand necklace centerpiece shows a tiger biting the neck of a giraffe, with an elephant in the background.This Centerpiece measures 1 3/8" x 1 1/2". The Single Strand necklace centerpiece has an Elephant goring a tiger with it's tusks, and This Centerpiece Measures 1 1/2" x 1 1/2". Each of the smaller elephants measure roughly 1/2" by 3/4". Very Exceptional Pieces! The Ring is Fairly Plain, neatly carved, but no animal motifs.I Don't know the size, but I would guess the avergage woman could wear it. The Earrings are nice, with little elephants encased in circles, however, one of the earrings has the back legs of the elephant missing, and the other has a small crack at the top of the ring. Still, probably not noticable at first glance if you were wearing them. The Toothpicks are very nicely carved, with Animal Finials at the tops of each, featuring 3 elephants, 3 Birds, and what looks like a Buddah statue.
