Antique Ivory Carved Elephant Figurine

- approx 3" X 1" X .75" without stand

- approx 3.25" X 1.75" X 1.25"with stand

Made in Hong Kong Marking on Bottom of Stand

This item was handed down through the family. I am not aware of its exact age or whether it would be considered an Original Design.

I am certain that a collector would appreciate its true value and authenticity.

The ivory, I am guessing due to its age, is no longer all one color as can be seen in the photos. The carving is still very detailed in the ears, top of the head, trunk and scattered throughout the body.

T do not appear to be any cracks and the age lines that may look like an imperfection are not able to be felt. The surface is still very smooth.

The paint on the attached stand is slightly worn but does still show the "Made in Hong Kong" verbiage on the bottom.

Again, I cannot guarantee the age of this item as I do not have a background knowledge with ivory. I hope this can be a valuable asset to someones Ivory collection.

We offer USPS (Post Office) Priority Mail and also UPS (United Parcel) Ground service to help give our buyers a choice of which shipping charges will be of least impact. If the eBay shipping calculator appears to quote a seemingly excessive rate (especially for USPS Priority Mail), typically it is because the shipping box is larger than 1 cubic ft and the buyer is in a fairly distant zone. We want our buyers to have another option which may be of lesser cost impact.

Combined Shipping:

For bidders that WIN Multiple Items which offer combined shipping discounts, please wait for a notification from us to advise you of how many of your items we can condense for shipping and what method would probably be of least cost impact to you.

Insurance:

Although we package our items with Care for shipping, mishaps can occur.

We will "Require" Insurance usually when the item is Fragile, Non-Replaceable or of a Value we feel needs protection for both the Buyer and Seller. Responsibility for the value of the item will be between the shipper and the Buyer for these scenarios.

We will make Insurance "Optional" typically when we feel it may not be absolutely necessary BUT Buyers should always be aware that taking the Insurance is usually in their best interest for protection should the item get lost or damaged when in transit.
