Offered to You from Shop At Home Antiques: You are bidding on an ANTIQUE JACOBEAN GOTHIC WALNUT DINING TABLE Features: Wonderful carved decorative features. See the large acanthus leaves on the edges of the table. True to tudor tradition, this table is 8 sided. Great tudor, jacobean features and we have never seen the tenons that are deep 3D terrets on the skirt of the table on all sides. Nice gadrooned edging. Made in late 1930s, 1940s. The large acanthus leaves on the corners of the table lead to heavily carved foliate, reeded pillar legs. The base is double, tri pedestal base in Gothic Style. A grand Jacobean Style table will make an impressive statement for your dining experience. Condition: The table top surface is in overall good condition. The table is solid and sturdy. Wood sliders, the table opens easily and has 2 locking mechanisms. The table does extend 36" more. We do not have the leaves, but you can have them made with mininal cost. The table can hold up to 36" more extension. The scroll decorations at the base of the skirt attached to the skirt and the edge of the legs have been nailed back on, we recommend uninstalling and reinstalling again,. see pics. Dimensions: 65 1/2" wide x 42" deep x 30" tall. 24" tall to skirt Will extend and hold three 12" leaves. We do not have the leaves, you can have them made. Please see pics, ask any questions!
