This Dining Set I believe was t since it was originally Sold it is from the 1920's. The back of the sideboard has the store it came from Speigel on Lexington Ave. I am sure if this were moved down to a NY Gallery to be sold it would be Way more than the opening bid...One of the most carved up Jacobean Sets I have ever seen. With 6 Jacobean-Tudor Chairs. An 8 Foot draw - leaf Dining Table, a monumental Sideboard heavily carved and matching Server and China Cabinet. This set is awesome. It was manufactured by craftsmen without thinking of expense at a period of American time when money was very short This was manufactured for a wealthy home in the day. It is fantastic with the use of mixed woods. Oak and Walnut with Burl Walnut veneers on the drawers.
