This lovely dragon jade pin was brought to the US by my grandmother in 1936. She had lived t for 6 years and it was bought during that period but I do not know its exact age. T are three layers to the pin: the jade piece, a gold plated silver piece, and then another gold plated silver piece to which the clasp was attached. The three pieces are held together by prongs. One prong has broken off and so the three are not as tight as they could be. A jeweler told me he would charge $18 to redo the broken prong but I am going to leave that up to the buyer as it is not a necessity. The jade is still secure in its present condition. The pin is 2 7/8" long, 7/8" wide, and all three layers together are 1/4" thick. Best wishes for your bidding!
