ITEM: This is another great looking antique Imperial Japanese military sake cup I have to offer today. You can see it's got one great looking soldier on his horse. The writing reads KIHEI DAI 3 RENTAI (3rd Cavalry Regiment) & JOTAI KINEN (Retirement Commemoration). The soldier's name, "Nakayama" is on the base. T's a glare from the lights on the cup, it's not damage. The condition is extremely nice. It measures 2-11/16 inches in diameter. The 3rd Cavalry Regiment was assigned to the 3rd Division, learn more about their history : /wiki/IJA_3rd_Division I am now selling my personal collection of Japanese militaria and antiques.
