Japanese Imari

Bowl

Antique porcelain footed boat-shape dish with a design of a shi-shi dog in center and large flowers with karakusa vine design on side panels! Geometric design on end panels. Handpainted blue underglaze with red and gold paint/accenting overglaze! Circa Meiji era.

Measures 6 1/2" long, 4 1/8" wide and is just under 1" high.

In overall very good condition! No cracks or repairs! T is minor wear and a chip underglaze on foot rim. Minor design wear, glaze/firing imperfections and light surface scratches.
